Active Status shows when you are online or were recently active.
Who can see it
People you follow and anyone you have messaged, if both of you have Active Status on.
What it shows
- A green dot on your profile photo in chats
- “Active now” or “Active 10m ago”
Turn it off
Settings → Messages and story replies → Show activity status → off. See turn off active status.
Note
If you turn it off, you also cannot see others’ status.
Quiet Mode
Shows “In quiet mode” instead. See Quiet Mode.
