“Unlink” can mean different things. Here is how to do each.
Unlink Instagram from Facebook
- Go to Settings → Accounts Center.
- Tap Accounts.
- Choose the account to remove and tap Remove from Accounts Center.
- Confirm.
Cross-posting and shared login will stop.
Remove an Instagram account from your app
If you have multiple accounts logged in:
- Go to Settings → Log out.
- Choose the account to log out.
To stop saving login info, untick Remember login info.
Remove third-party apps
Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites. Remove any you do not recognise or use.
Unlink a Facebook Page from a business account
In Meta Business Suite or Accounts Center, disconnect the Page. Note this may affect shopping and ads features.
