Update on Android
- Open the Google Play Store.
- Search for Instagram.
- Tap Update if it appears.
Update on iPhone
- Open the App Store.
- Tap your profile picture at the top.
- Scroll to find Instagram and tap Update.
Turn on automatic updates
- Android: Play Store → Instagram page → three dots → Enable auto update.
- iPhone: Settings → App Store → App Updates on.
Update not showing?
- Some features roll out gradually, even on the latest version.
- Check your phone has enough storage.
- Restart your phone and try again.
- Make sure your phone’s operating system is up to date.
