Changed your mind about someone you blocked? Unblocking takes a few seconds.
Unblock from your blocked list
- Go to your profile and tap the menu.
- Tap Blocked (under “Who can see your content”).
- Find the person and tap Unblock.
- Confirm.
Unblock from their profile
Search for their username, open the profile and tap Unblock.
What happens after you unblock
- They can see your public posts and find your profile again.
- They will not automatically follow you again. If they followed you before, they need to follow again.
- They are not notified that you unblocked them.
- If you blocked new accounts they may create, you need to unblock those too.
Can they see old messages?
Previous DMs remain in the chat history. You can continue the conversation if both of you want.
