Sharing other people’s content is a great way to keep your feed active. Here is how to do it properly.
Use the repost button
Instagram has added a repost option for public posts and Reels in many regions. Tap the share or repost icon. The repost appears in a Reposts tab on your profile and followers may see it in feed.
Share to your story
Tap the Share (paper plane) icon and choose Add to story. The original creator is credited automatically.
Remix a Reel
Tap the three dots on a Reel and choose Remix to react side by side.
Repost as your own post (with permission)
- Ask the creator for permission.

- Upload and credit them clearly in the caption and tag.
