Download your data first
Accounts Center → Your information and permissions → Download your information.
Delete your account
- Settings → Accounts Center.
- Personal details → Account ownership and control → Deactivation or deletion.
- Choose the account → Delete account.
- Pick a reason, enter your password and confirm.
Waiting period
Your account is hidden immediately and permanently deleted after about 30 days. Log in before then to cancel.
After deletion
- You cannot reactivate
- Your username may become available to others
- Messages you sent may remain in others’ inboxes
