Unmute from their profile
- Open their profile.
- Tap Following.
- Tap Mute.
- Turn off the toggles for posts, stories or notes.
Find everyone you muted
Settings → Muted accounts. Tap an account to change settings.
Unmute stories from the story bar
Muted stories appear greyed at the end of the story bar. Tap and hold, then choose Unmute.
Do they know?
No. Muting and unmuting are private.
