Open the post → three dots → Edit.
What you can edit
- Caption and hashtags
- Tagged people
- Location
- Alt text
- Delete individual photos from a carousel (if more than two)
What you cannot edit
- The photo or video itself
- Filters after posting
- Reel audio after posting (in most cases)

Caption, cover (in some versions), tags and location can be changed.
Tips
- Do not edit too often right after posting
- If the image is wrong, delete and repost quickly before engagement builds
