How to Change Your Name on Instagram

Instagram has two names: your name (display name) and your username (@handle).

Change your display name

1. Go to your profile and tap Edit profile.
2. Tap Name.
3. Type the new name and save.

You can usually change your name only twice in 14 days.

Change your username

1. Edit profile → Username.
2. Type a new available username and save.

If you change back within 14 days, you may be able to reclaim the old one.

Make your name searchable

Your name field is searched. Add a keyword: “Aman | Fitness Coach Delhi”.
