There is a difference between deleting a chat for you and unsending a message for everyone.
Unsend a message (for both people)
Tap and hold the message → Unsend. See unsend messages.
Delete a chat (only for you)
- Open your inbox.
- Swipe left on the chat (iPhone) or tap and hold (Android).
- Tap Delete and confirm.
The other person still has the conversation.
Delete multiple chats
Tap the list icon in the inbox, select chats and delete.
Message requests
Open Requests and delete or decline.
Use vanish mode for disappearing messages

Before deleting business chats
Save important customer details first. Deleted chats cannot be recovered.
