Location tags help people nearby find your posts. Here is how to change them.
Add a location to a new post
On the final screen before sharing, tap Add location and search for a place.
Edit the location on an existing post
- Open the post and tap the three dots.
- Tap Edit.
- Tap the location under your username, or Add location.
- Choose a new place or remove it.
- Tap Done.

Use the Location sticker and search for a place.
Change your business address
Business accounts can edit the address shown on the profile in Edit profile → Contact options.
Can I change my account’s country?
Instagram shows an “Account based in” detail in About this account. It is based on account activity and cannot be set manually.
